Privacy policy

GrooveMate is a marketplace for musicians, bands, studios and music services. This page explains what data we handle, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your account comes from Telegram sign-in (numeric ID and username) or an email address. Listings you publish — text, photos, city and contact details — are public by design: that is exactly what the marketplace shows to other musicians. Card and bank payments are handled by the payment providers; we keep only the order and its status, never card numbers.

Product analytics

With your consent we collect anonymous usage events (pages viewed, searches, listing views) to improve the product. We never sell data, and events carry no names, emails or phone numbers. Declining turns analytics off entirely.

Cookies & storage

Signing in uses strictly necessary cookies. Analytics storage is set only after you allow it and can be removed by clearing site data.

AI-assisted features

Search queries and new listings may be processed by an AI service (Anthropic) to power natural-language search and to help our moderators screen content. These requests are not used to train AI models, and a human moderator always has the final say.

Where data lives

The platform runs on Railway (EU region) behind Cloudflare, which also stores listing photos. Analytics events are processed by PostHog in the European Union. Technical error reports go to Sentry (US) and never include your messages or passwords. Sign-in and notifications run through Telegram; payments through Telegram Stars and Monobank. Where data leaves the EU (Sentry, Anthropic), the transfer is covered by EU-approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your data, your choices

You can edit or delete your listings at any time from the Telegram bot or Mini App — deleted listings disappear from the catalog immediately. Analytics consent can be withdrawn at any time by clearing site data. To remove your account entirely, message us and we will erase it. You also have the right to request a copy of your data, to correct it, or to object to its processing — we respond within one month.
